There isn’t a man made system that doesn’t have some type of corruption in it. Whether it’s politics, business, education, and even the church, when there are humans involved, you will have some type of exploitation, fraud, extortion, bribery or crime. Yet it seems to “shock” us when those things are exposed and made public. We can’t believe that someone would use a position or power to take advantage of others for their own gain. But as Paul was concluding his letter to the church in Ephesus he encouraged the followers there by telling them they could experience “Grace through the Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love!” Wow! In Christ we have a love that real, genuine, powerful, motivational, extraordinary and supernatural! Our love as humans will always fall short. We will disappoint each other, even with the best intentions. But in Christ Jesus we have a Savior who’s love never fails, never gives up, never runs out. His is the “real deal!” Hallelujah!
