| Today’s Verse: Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? – John 14:1-2 You will never regret the time you spend reading God’s Word. It is full of hope that encourages our hurting souls. Just like when the disciples began to feel sorrowful because Jesus told them that He would be away from them in a little while. He was speaking about going back to the Father after His mission. He spoke those comforting words to reassure them. He doesn’t want to see us low-spirited. Many are the times that we get so preoccupied with the things of this world and when we fail to achieve something, we get disappointed. Our hearts become troubled. Remember whatever it may be that weighs you down, have faith in God. He has solutions in store for you. Don’t let anything trouble your hearts, put your faith in Christ and He’ll take care of your problems. – Commentary by Dionivie M. Tacder Today’s Prayer: Heavenly Father, put a passion in my heart to always seek You in everything I do. I pray that You would strengthen my faith and for the gift of faith for those who do not yet believe in You. Amen! |
